Jamiat establishes Help Desk for Waqf Registration

Appeals to imams and Mutawallis to upload documents on UMEED portal

New Delhi, October 20, 2025: Maulana Hakimuddin Qasmi, General Secretary of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, has asserted that under the Waqf (Amendment) Act 2025, it is mandatory to upload details of all registered Waqf properties on the UMEED portal in accordance with Section 3B. The Hon’ble Supreme Court, in its interim order, has not stayed this provision despite our prayers. Therefore, the process must be completed before December 5, 2025.
In this context, Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind makes a strong appeal to all its units, religious and social institutions, Imams of mosques, mutawallis (managers) of waqf properties, and Ulama to:
1. Raise awareness in their respective areas regarding the uploading of details of all registered waqf properties on the UMEED portal, and establish Waqf Help Desks for mutual assistance in completing the registration.
2. Ensure that especially mutawallis of mosques, madrasas, dargahs and graveyards promptly collect and upload the required information on the UMEED portal. The official link of the portal is: umeed.minorityaffairs.gov.in
3. Note that failure to comply with this process within the stipulated time may affect the legal status of such waqf properties.
For assistance, a Help Desk has also been established at the Central Office of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind (New Delhi). Those requiring help with the registration process may contact the following numbers: 9670672842 / 7409856082.
Additionally, Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind will soon establish more help desks in Western Uttar Pradesh to assist the registration process.

नई दिल्ली, 20 अक्टूबर 2025: जमीअत उलमा-ए-हिंद के महासचिव मौलाना हकीमुद्दीन कासमी ने इस बात पर जोर दिया है कि वक्फ (संशोधन) अधिनियम, 2025 के अनुसार, जो वक्फ संपत्तियां पंजीकृत हैं, उनका विवरण धारा 3B के अनुसार 'उम्मीद' पोर्टल पर अपलोड करना अनिवार्य कर दिया गया है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने अपने अंतरिम निर्णय में भी इस पर कोई रोक नहीं लगाई है। इसलिए, यह प्रक्रिया 5 दिसंबर 2025 से पहले पूरी कर ली जानी चाहिए।

इस स्थिति में, जमीअत उलमा-ए-हिंद अपनी सभी इकाइयों, धार्मिक और सामाजिक संस्थाओं, मस्जिदों के इमामों, वक्फ संपत्तियों के मुतवल्लियों (ट्रस्टियों) और उलमा-ए-क्राम से जोर देकर अपील करती है कि:
1. अपने क्षेत्रों में मौजूद सभी पंजीकृत वक्फ संपत्तियों का विवरण तत्काल उम्मीद पोर्टल पर अपलोड करने के बारे में जागरूकता फैलाएं। आपसी सहयोग के लिए उम्मीद पोर्टल पंजीकरण को समर्पित हेल्प डेस्क स्थापित करें।
2. विशेष रूप से, मस्जिदों, मदरसों , दरगाह और कब्रिस्तानों के मुतवल्ली बिना देरी किए आवश्यक विवरण तुरंत एकत्र करके उम्मीद पोर्टल पर अपलोड करें। पोर्टल का आधिकारिक लिंक https://umeed.minorityaffairs.gov.in है।
3. यदि यह प्रक्रिया समय पर पूरी नहीं की गई तो वक्फ की ऐसी संपत्तियों की कानूनी स्थिति प्रभावित हो सकती है।
