Jamiat Relief
In this critical hour, Jamiat Ulama Tamil Nadu Unit on directive of its National President Hazrat Maulana Mahmood A. Madani saheb came forward to help the needy persons. They are actively working in Chennai, aiding first with the rescue and relief operations.
With the help its dedicated volunteers, 6200 food packets and ration kits have been distributed among the victims within 3 days. As the delegation met with the disturbed families, it was felt that they need much help in form of food, water, milk packets and live saving medicine. The government has issued red alert which expresses that situation may worsen.
The Jamiat team and volunteers on ground faced various challenges like continuous rains, broken transportation and communication networks, power cuts and water logging, but with the dedication and strong desire, they were working to reach out to the needy persons.
