Jamiat strongly condemns US President’s statement on Gaza

New Delhi, February 6, 2025 – Maulana Mahmood Madani, President of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, has strongly condemned the statement made by US President Donald Trump, in which he proposed the American occupation of Gaza and the forcible displacement of the Palestinian people. Maulana Madani described this proposal as not only absurd but also a direct violation of international law and human rights.

Maulana Madani emphasized that Gaza is not just a piece of land; it is home of millions of Palestinian people who have suffered for decades under occupation, aggression, and injustice. Any attempt to forcibly expel the Palestinian people from their homes would constitute a grave assault on human dignity and rights.

He further highlighted that nearly 50,000 innocent lives have already been lost in the recent Israeli brutal aggression, and any further unjust plans would only add insult to injury, further exacerbating the suffering of the Palestinian people. Maulana Madani expressed deep dismay that the US President, alongside a brutal Israeli leader, is endorsing such a draconian proposal from the White House. He stated that any leader with a conscience would be ashamed to support a plan so callous and inhumane.

Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind calls on the international community, especially the United Nations and influential global powers, to categorically reject this plan and take immediate, practical steps to ensure the restoration of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people. India has consistently taken a principled stand in support of Palestine, and it is crucial that the country remain steadfast in upholding this position and continue to speak out for justice and peace.

Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind reaffirms its unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people and demands the reconstruction of Gaza, the restoration of Palestinian rights, and the pursuit of a just and lasting resolution to the Palestinian issue.

अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति के गाजा पर कब्जे से संबंधित बयान की कड़ी निंदा

नई दिल्ली, 6 फरवरी, 2025: जमीअत उलमा-ए-हिंद के अध्यक्ष मौलाना महमूद असद मदनी ने अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप के उस बयान की कड़ी निंदा की है जिसमें उन्होंने गाजा पर अमेरिकी कब्जे और फिलिस्तीनी जनता को जबरन बेदखल करने का प्रस्ताव रखा है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह घोषणा न केवल हास्यास्पद है बल्कि अंतरराष्ट्रीय कानूनों और मानवाधिकारों का खुला उल्लंघन भी है। मौलाना मदनी ने कहा कि गाजा जमीन का एक टुकड़ा मात्र नहीं, बल्कि लाखों उत्पीड़ित फिलिस्तीनियों की मातृभूमि है, जो कई दशकों से प्रताड़ना, कब्जे और आक्रमणकारी नीतियों का सामना कर रहे हैं।
मौलाना मदनी ने कहा कि फिलिस्तीनी जनता को जबरन उनके घरों से बेदखल करने का कोई भी प्रयास मानवाधिकारों पर सीधा हमला होगी। हाल ही में इजरायल के हमले और आतंकवाद में लगभग पचास हज़ार निर्दोष लोगों की जान जा चुकी है। ऐसे में और अन्याय की योजना फिलिस्तीनियों के जख्मों पर नमक छिड़कने के बराबर है। यह अत्यंत शर्म की बात है कि अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति एक क्रूर और बर्बर इजरायली शासक के साथ व्हाइट हाउस में मंच साझा कर रहे हैं और उसके रंग में रंग कर ऐसी अमानवीय योजना पेश कर रहे हैं, जिस पर अगर वह स्वयं भी मानवीय आचरण के आलोक में विचार करें तो उन्हें शर्म आएगी।
इस अवसर पर जमीअत उलमा-ए-हिंद अंतरराष्ट्रीय समुदाय, विशेष रूप से संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघ और प्रभावशाली वैश्विक शक्तियों से मांग करती है कि वह इस योजना का खुलकर विरोध करें और फिलिस्तीनी जनता के वैध अधिकारों की बहाली के लिए व्यावहारिक कदमों में तेजी लाएं। भारत ने हमेशा फिलिस्तीन के पक्ष में सैद्धांतिक रुख अपनाया है। ऐसी स्थिति में यह अत्यंत आवश्यक है कि वह अपने दीर्घकालिक न्यायोचित रुख पर कायम रहे और न्याय एवं शांति के पक्ष में आवाज उठाए।
जमीअत उलमा-ए-हिंद फिलिस्तीनी जनता के साथ अपनी अटूट एकजुटता दोहराती है कि गाजा का पुनर्वास किया जाए और फिलिस्तीनियों के अधिकारों को बहाल किया जाए और फिलिस्तीनी मुद्दे का न्यायोचित समाधान निकाला जाए।
