*In Chhattisgarh, a tragic incident of mob lynching of Muslim youths*

The victim family met with jamiat leaders in New Delhi

New Delhi, June 22: Today, the families of the three Muslim youths who were lynched to death for cattle transport in Chhattisgarh met with Jamiat leaders in New Delhi and requested to cooperate in getting justice.

The families of victims Gudu alias Tahseen resident Shamli district, Chand Miyan and Saddam Qureshi residents of Saharanpur ofdistrict, arrived at the office of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind in New Delhi. They met with the General Secretary of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, Maulana Hakimuddin Qasmi, and requested assistance from Jamiat for the provision of justice. It is evident that despite two weeks having passed, no arrests have been made so far , while these three youths were brutally killed by a mob of anti-national elements on the night of June 6-7 on a bridge over a dry river in Arang, about 40 kilometers away from Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh.

Gudu alias Tahseen has four small children, Chand Miyan got married just six months ago, while Saddam Qureshi was about to get married.

In brief, the whole incident is that some cattle traders from Mahasamund had bought buffaloes from a village, which were being transported. All three drivers were associated with the Muslim community. Apparently, the organization of cow vigilantes tracked them. They had put logs on the bridge to stop the vehicle. A large number of logs were found on the bridge by the police. After the tires of the truck burst and stopped, a group of 15 people attacked them. After killing all three, the attackers threw Chand Miyan and Gudu Khan under a dry river below the bridge, causing both of them to die.

Saddam was in critical condition and after two weeks of treatment at a private hospital in Raipur, he passed away. The police recovered 24 buffaloes from the truck and filed a case under sections 304 and 307 against unknown attackers. A special SIT has now been formed, but no arrests have been made yet.

In the office of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, under the leadership of Maulana Muhammad Qasim, the Nazim of Jamiat Ulama Baghpat, the family members of Gudu alias Tahseen, including his brother Zeeshan, Muhammad Kausar, uncle of Saddam Qureshi, and Muhammad Noshad, father of Chand Miyan, Muhammad Tahir, etc., discussed the entire situation in detail. On this occasion, Maulana Ghayur Ahmad Qasmi, Senior Organizer of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, Mufti Zakir Qasmi, and others were also present.

The General Secretary of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, Maulana Hakimuddin Qasmi, assured the families that every possible cooperation would be provided and efforts would be made to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Maulana Hakimuddin Qasmi said that in this incident, buffaloes were purchased from a village in Mahasamund. Muslim drivers were taking these buffaloes. This is a legitimate business of buying cattle. Despite this, minority traders are being defamed as cow smugglers. The second fact is that the attackers had been following the truck for a long distance and for quite some time. If they suspected cattle smuggling, why did they take the law into their own hands instead of informing the police? Because the intention of the attackers was to kill the herd, it cannot be called unintentional killing, as the police have stated in the case. Maulana Hakimuddin Qasmi said that the state government's silence and the government's inaction on this horrific communal incident clearly indicate that it does not care to stop Chhattisgarh from plunging into anarchy.

چھتیس گڑھ میں وحشیانہ ماب لنچنگ میں مارے گئے نوجوانوں کے

اہل خانہ کی جمعیۃ علماء ہند کے جنرل سکریٹری سے ملاقات ، جمعیۃ کی طرف سے ہر ممکن تعاون کے عزم کا اظہار

نئی دہلی ۲۲؍ جون: چھتیس گڑھ میں وحشیانہ ماب لنچنگ کے شکار مغربی یوپی کے تین مسلم نوجوان گڈو عرف تحسین ساکن بنت ضلع شاملی، چاند میاں اور صدام قریشی ساکن لکھنوتی گنگوہ ضلع سہارن پور کے اہل خانہ آج جمعیۃ علماء ہند کے صدر دفتر نئی دہلی پہنچے اور وہاں جمعیۃ علماء ہند کے جنرل سکریٹری مولانا حکیم الدین قاسمی سے ملاقات کی اور جمعیۃ سے انصاف کی فراہمی میں مدد کی گزارش کی۔ واضح ہو کہ دو ہفتے گزر جانے کے باوجود مجرموں کی اب تک گرفتاری نہیں ہوئی ہے، جب کہ ان تینوں نوجوانوں کو ملک دشمن عناصر کی ایک بھیڑ نے 6-7 جون کی رات راجدھانی رائے پور سے تقریباً 40 کلومیٹر دور ارنگ میں ایک ندی کی پل پر پیٹ پیٹ کر قتل کردیا۔ گڈو عرف تحسین کے چار چھوٹے بچے ہیں، چاند میاں کی صر ف چھ ماہ پہلے شادی ہوئی تھی جب کہ صدام قریشی کی شادی ہونے والی تھی ۔

مختصراً پورا واقعہ یہ ہے کہ کچھ مویشیوں کے تاجروں نے مہاسامند کے ایک گاؤں سے بھینسیں خریدی تھیں، جو اڈیشہ لے جائی جا رہی تھیں۔ تینوں ڈرائیور مسلم برادری سے تعلق رکھتے تھے۔ مبینہ طور پر گئو رکشکوں کی تنظیم نے ان کا تعاقب کیا۔ انھوں نے گاڑی کو روکنے کے لئے پہلے مہاندی پل پر کیلیں بچھا رکھی تھیں۔ پولیس کو پل پر بڑی تعداد میں کیلیں ملی ہیں۔ بھینسوں سے بھری ہوئی ٹرک کے ٹائر پھٹنے اور رکنے کے بعد 15 افراد کے ایک گروہ نے ان پر حملہ کیا۔ تینوں کو مارنے کے بعد، حملہ آوروں نے چاند میاں اور گڈو خاں کو پل کے نیچے بہنے والی خشک ندی کی چٹان پر پھینک دیا، جس کی وجہ سے دونوں کی موت ہو گئی۔ صدام کی حالت نازک تھی اور اس نے رائے پور کے ایک نجی اسپتال میں دو ہفتے زیر علاج رہنے کے بعد دم توڑدیا۔پولیس نے ٹرک سے 24 بھینسیں برآمد کی ہیں اور نامعلوم حملہ آوروں کے خلاف دفعہ 304، 307 کے تحت مقدمہ درج کیا ہے۔ گوکہ اب ایک ایس آئی ٹی تشکیل دی گئی ہے، لیکن ہنوز کوئی گرفتاری عمل میں نہیں آئی ہے۔

دفتر جمعیۃعلماء ہند میںجمعیۃ علماء باغپت کے ناظم مولانا محمد قاسم کی قیادت میں اہل خانہ گڈو عرف تحسین کے بھائی ذیشان، صدام قریشی کے چچا محمد کوثر اور چاند میاں کے والد محمد نوشاد ، محمد طاہر وغیرہم نے مکمل صورت حال پر تبادلہ خیال کیا۔ اس موقع پر مولانا غیور احمد قاسمی سینئر آرگنائزر جمعیۃ علماء ہند ، مفتی ذاکر قاسمی وغیرہ بھی موجود تھے ۔ فوری طو ر پر ناظم عمومی جمعیۃ علماء ہند مولانا محمد حکیم الدین قاسمی نے رائے پور چھتیس گڑھ کے مقامی پولس افسران سے فون پر بات کی اورجلد گرفتاری اور کارروائی کا مطالبہ کیا۔ واضح ہو کہ اس واقعے کے پیش آنے کے بعد ہی جمعیۃ علماء ہندکے صدر مولانا محمود اسعد مدنی کی طرف سے ریاست کے وزیر اعلی کو خط لکھ کر سخت کارروائی اور معقول معاوضہ کامطالبہ کیا گیا تھا۔ حال میں مولانا مدنی نے اپنے ایک بیان میں ماب لنچنگ کو ہندستان کے ماتھے پر داغ سے تعبیر کیاتھا۔مولانا حکیم الدین قاسمی نے اہل خانہ کو یقین دلایا کہ ہر ممکن تعاون کیا جائے گا اور ملک دشمنوں کو کیفرکردار تک پہنچانے کی کوشش کی جائے گی۔

مولانا حکیم الدین قاسمی نے کہا کہ اس واقعہ میں مہاسامند کے ایک گاؤں سے بھینسیں خریدی گئی تھیں۔ مسلم ڈرائیور ان بھینسوں کو لے جا رہے تھے۔ یہ مویشی خریدنے کا صاف کاروبار ہے۔ اس کے باوجود ان اقلیتی برادری کے تاجروں کو گائے کے اسمگلر کے طور پر بدنام کیا جا رہا ہے۔دوسری حقیقت یہ ہے کہ حملہ آور لمبی دوری سے اور کافی وقت تک ٹرک کا پیچھا کر رہے تھے۔ اگر انہیں گائے کی اسمگلنگ کا شبہ تھا تو انھوں نے پولیس کو مطلع کرنے کے بجائے قانون کو اپنے ہاتھوں میں کیوں لیا؟چونکہ حملہ آور بھیڑکا قتل کرنا ہی منصوبہ تھا، اس لیے اسے غیر ارادی قتل نہیں کہا جاسکتا جیسا کہ پولیس نے مقدمہ میں درج کیا ہے۔مولانا حکیم الدین قاسمی نے کہا کہ اس خوفناک فرقہ وارانہ واقعہ پر ریاستی سرکار کی خاموشی اور حکومت کی بے عملی واضح طور پر ظاہر کرتی ہے کہ وہ چھتیس گڑھ او رملک کو انارکی کی تاریکی میں دھکیلنے سے روکنے میں کوئی دل چسپی نہیں رکھتی ۔
